URSIVO helps you save receipts once and find them later. This page explains what URSIVO stores, where original receipt files live, and how you can remove your data.

What URSIVO stores
URSIVO stores the receipt details needed for the product to work: merchant, purchase date, total and currency, receipt items, warranty details, notes and processing status. This metadata is what makes your receipts searchable.
URSIVO also stores basic account information from your Google sign-in, such as your name and email address, so your account can be identified.
Where original receipt files are stored
When you connect Google Drive, the original receipt files URSIVO saves for you are stored in your own Google Drive, in folders created by URSIVO. You keep ownership of those files.
Until Google Drive is connected, original files are held in URSIVO’s private managed storage, accessible only to your account.
Google Drive permissions
URSIVO’s Google Drive permission is limited to the files URSIVO itself creates or uses through the app. URSIVO does not request or use access to the rest of your Google Drive.
You can disconnect Google Drive at any time from Settings. Disconnecting stops URSIVO from saving new files to your Drive.
AI receipt reading
When receipt-reading is used, the receipt image or PDF may be sent to the configured AI provider so the merchant, date, total and items can be read from it. Only the receipt file and the information needed to process it are sent.
AI-extracted details can be wrong. URSIVO shows extracted details so you can review and correct them.
How your receipt content is used
Receipt content is used to provide URSIVO’s features: storage, organisation, search and warranty reminders. Receipt content is not used for advertising.
URSIVO is built to be privacy-focused, but it is not zero-knowledge: the service can technically read the receipt data it stores in order to provide these features.
Account data and receipt files are handled separately
Your account information and your original receipt files are handled as separate things. You can delete your receipt data without deleting your account.
Deleting your data
In Settings → Privacy and data you can delete your receipt data, which removes your receipts, receipt items, warranties and the associated original files URSIVO saved for you.
You can also delete your entire URSIVO account. This removes your URSIVO account data and the receipt files URSIVO stored for you, and revokes URSIVO’s access to your Google account.
Deleting your URSIVO account does not delete your Google Account, and does not delete anything in your Google Drive that URSIVO did not create.
